Dame is a complete fraud and he has ruined the blazers for 2+ decades

This is coming from someone who was a HUGE Lillard fan.

I loved him when he was this humble kid who came in the league but also had a chip on his shoulder. but his true self has been fully exposed over the last 2-3 years.

he ain’t loyal. He ain’t about bringing a ship to Portland. Everything he’s ever said about loyalty/winning was a PR stunt.

He got his coach of 10 years fired. Period. Stotts is still here if Lillard sticks up for him at all.

He co-signed the overhaul of our roster in 2016, betraying all his former teammates like Harlkess, Leonard, and Chief.

Now in 2021 He tore the team apart by allowing trade rumors to float around, while he’s off in Europe with the Olympic squad filled with recruiters.

Now we find out he has been trying to trade CJ and Nurk behind the scenes, after he balked at the idea just this summer.

Now we find out he has been making absurd demands (55 million dollars per year when he’s 37 years old) and threatening to walk after this season if he didn’t get his way.

He is trying to max out his fucking contract at the expense of having any chance of winning.

He sold himself as a humble kid who would do anything to win. In reality he is an egomaniac who will do anything for a dollar, even at the cost of winning, even when he’s already one of the richest people in human history.

our team is on the verge of a rebuild that will take a decade to recover from. We already wasted a decade on this c-rate rapper and have one whopping WCF appearance (a sweep) to show for it (after Dame choked in the second round and was carried by CJ vs Denver).

Guess I've been fooled this entire time as I would never use "fraud" and "Dame" or "Lillard" in the same sentence! I know he's made some mistakes and has earned some criticism, but overall the dude is as real as I've ever seen any athlete/celebrity. Maybe I should say "appears to be as real" since I don't actually know him, but y'all know what I mean.
