And, perhaps, we don't need cransplaining from someone who is clearly ignorant on the matter - replete with not-so-subtle digs. By the way, last night's Mercy Multiplied event was a wonderful affair. The testimonies were compelling and heartwarming. We need more of this in America. Love conquers all.

She didn't disallow anything. She offered her opinion as a woman and that's valid. After she posted, you were not blocked from continuing your conversation.

    i didnt say i was.
What i am saying is she took it upon herself to insert that comment into the middle of a discussion with passive aggressive intentions. Common behavior for her.
Call someone out without directly calling someone out.
Not once has she backtracked and said you know, maybe i was a bit judgmental calling ob and tortured and some others mysoginists for trying to have a discussion.

i e been more than kind to her over the years. And its has not been reciprocated due to a biased judgemental behavioral pattern.
Two wrongs don’t make a right.

As ling as she is allowed to blast in a roundabout way. I should be allowed to blast back.

Nobody is fooling anyone with generalized statements like that.

We can all read between the lines here but must do so consistently and not only when it favors an opinion.

When guys are talking about abortion or other controversial subjects concerning women, women are going to be upset.

It's very strange how some people seem to fixate on crandc and can't let anything she says go without some sort of comment, retort or a demand that she understands what they want her to understand.

Mmmmm what about her is different that causes such a uproar with some people? I know it's that she is passive aggressive!

It's not what she says so much as how she says it.

I had it in HS Health class in 66. I'll be honest Im not sure just how beneficial it was in HS. It would be better received and impactful do have it in middle school. Just my opinion.

Things are a bit different these days as opposed to '66. The teacher pulls the banana out of the basket and proceeds to demonstrate how to properly apply a condom. Meanwhile, the lesbian girl is asking to be excused for a potty break while the trans kid is muttering just gag me, already.

Kidding, of course. But, we now live in a very complex world......and getting more so every day.

    exactly.
I did and said nothing at all to her that should be considered an insult. Not in a direct or round about fashion.
The previous time this happened i went out of my way to be considerate when asking her a question. I learned by the response, not to ask again.
I then sent her a pm apologizing and was told she wants to forgive but couldn't do it do to some excuse…
But yet I'm supposed to respect her and her opinions?

    Respect goes both ways.

Mods can defend her all she wants, but how she says things is just as wrong as those she rails against.

Two wrongs don't make a right, but depending on which side you land on, its either accepted or denied based on a bias.

She behaves in the same manner she chastises others for and then people want others to accept and respect that???

    pffft. Sorry.

its funny how some are blind to the fact that it was HER who couldnt let a conversation between two people go without a passive aggressive comment as evidenced in this very thread 24 hours ago.
But you know. Biased cliques will defend each other even when wrong…

    Its hilarious.
To answer your last question, she is the ONLy one who has yelled out for people to go fuck themselves during a respectable conversation.
But you know. Dismiss that too, cause… you know.. bias.

im in court right now learning about subconscious bias.
Im pretty sure many people in this forum could use the same education and thus, turn it into a bit of self reflection…

    Oi vey.
Been called every name in the book and I am too emotional.
This thread is not about me. It's not about some dude's hurt feelings.
It is about for the first time in history the Supreme Court proclaiming a constitutional right and then taking it back. It's about the people who will lose all say in the private aspects of their lives.

Apparently we do, since some of us are still supporting removing a woman's right to choose...

Men discussing what she can do with her own body.

Are you serious? It's a disgrace that we even have to have these conversations. She has every right to be pissed.

from what ive read, no one is trying to remove anything. People were trying to discuss the moral aspect and ramifications of abortion, when should we consider a fetus a life, etc.

    and she cant handle it.

    boo fucking hooo.

oh bullshit. Births are required to maintain the future of women AND men so ww absolutely have the right to discuss it. And we will have to live with your disgust and her not handling it…

again boo fucking hoo. Men are discussing the ramifications of abortion.

    Omg. The atrocity!!

Anyone opposed to such a discussion can go fuck themselves for trying to deny the right to free speech.
The double standard here is so glaring i can see why some are blind to it.
