Maybe this will light a fire under him and increase his trade value a bit.

Good move...actually Roco will get more 3 pt opportunities off the bench than with the starters...Nance has earned the start...maybe now we'll stop digging holes early in games for a change and Nance will help Nurk defensively a lot more than Roco has been. Nance is a smart player.

might be real interesting if RoCo doesn't play at all. Would hint at a trade

and even if he does play, doesn't this seem to call for a trade before the deadline? He won't re-sign in Portland

Good move! No surprise here. He’s getting traded anyways and he probably knows it.

Roco is getting traded unless Cronin is completely incompetent, which I doubt. Expiring contracts with bird rights have value, regardless of how bad Roco has been. I would bet anything on him having a market. Someone will talk themselves into trading for him. Shit I’ve talked myself into trying to bring Harkless back and he’s been even worse.

Only reason he wasn’t benched before was to maintain the illusion that we weren’t trying to trade him. Now our new GM has basically said outright he’s on the block, so no need to maintain that illusion anymore.

Dame Norm Nas Larry Nurk is probably our best lineup that balances offense and defense.

The only thing RoCo gave over Nance was spacing but that spacing is all theoretical if he can’t actually hit shots. Nance moves the ball better, plays way better one on one defense, and rebounds better. This was a no brainer.
