They are high on Duarte and he's a SG.

Yeah, again they are struggling. If they value what CJ can bring to them and how Duarte could fit in a three guard rotation with CJ and Brogdon then I could see this working. CJ is just a far more potent scorer than anyone else they have on the team. If they want to rip the whole thing down then I could see them featuring Duarte more with a bunch of other young guys. If they still want to try and build a winner around Sabonis and Brogdon then I could see them liking this deal. I would actually throw in a first to make it work if it was close for them and that would push them over the finish line. All of this only works for me if we could turn Nurk and Ant into Grant and Garza (for some depth at C).

Man Nas is so underrated. You’ve got Atlanta out here asking for a first round pick for Reddish when he isn’t even better than Nas (don’t get me confused though, I would love to have Reddish)

Just shows how fanbases and even teams tend to over or under value their own assets.

Knicks trade 2 picks that aren't their own for CJ. Boston trades a prospect for a solid 3&D wing. OKC gets a 2nd to take on salary. We get a pick this year and next, and 2 prospects in Nesmith and Toppin to take a look at. Get well under the tax. Create a 10ish million dollar TPE, and if we guarantee Hermangomez for next year, would also be able to combine him and Kemba over the summer as 16ish million in expiring salaries.

Lol i did the exact comp this morning when suggesting Reddish trades. Nas is better across the board. We better not trade him

Nicely done, this is a trade that actually seems plausible and I'd do it if I were Portland. Well constructed.

Well they can always ask, but real price is what the others are offering.

He did link Portland to Sabonis. First I’ve seen of that.

I think all this is relevant to us.

The initial part of this section makes it seem like CJ could be an option for Indy.

Houston appears willing to listen to offers on Christian Wood, but that would require a first-round pick plus further capital.

We need to be all over this.

So to summarize Fischer pretty much every player in the nba is available for the right price. Riveting.

Agreed. "A first plus further capital" does not sound like a crazy price for Wood. Nurk/Ant/'24 FRP?

I'd try to move Roco for a pick and send it Houston's way instead of Ant. But ya, I'm all in on Wood.

Sounds like we just offered RoCo and Nurk which obviously got nowhere. Nothing in Fischers article really seems as close to anything he had when he gave these updates in the off-season.

You better move Nurkic after because Wood is 100% a center.
