Those oysters are far far too large. Don't eat no stinkin' raw meat and that includes fish. Caviar looks delicious. Don't eat no cioppino.
Wife made homemade flat noodles last night and we had shrimp, brocolli, bell pepper, mushroom onion noodle soup last meal....next meal will be a surprise. Maybe jumbo breaded prawns with stir fried rice.
Sometimes? My relative that is Vietnamese loves Pho Oregon but I prefer Pho Van. She says Pho Van is made for the american palate.
One really good Vietnamese Restaurant in Eugene and it's always packed....I haven't been there in a while and should stop by there soon...great noodles.
Had dim sum today. First time in forever. Holy shit, the prices went up significantly. Was like $115 for 3 people after tip. Used to be half that. And this was a cheaper place. Hit the spot though.
We have the Maragame Udon chain in LA, which is basically the same thing. I have one like a mile from me right now at work. Maybe the Hawaii one is a little better, but I'm not waiting in that line.
Maguro Bros in the Alleyway like a block towards the beach is amazing. Last time I was there, the lines EVERYWHERE were long as fuck, but this is just after the re-open. I'm still mad they closed the little Japanese village walk in Waikiki too. They had some amazing Japanese food in there.
How good they do the shumai is usually my barometer, its probably the most popular dish, so they better do it right.
