    The Sioux Falls Skyforce defeated the Stockton Kings 91-87 on Tuesday evening from the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in the first of two games at the 2021 NBA G League Winter Showcase. The Skyforce trailed by as many as 10 in the fourth quarter but were able to pull out the victory.

    Brandon Knight (25 points on 7-19 FGA, five assists and four steals) led Sioux Falls (2-9) in scoring for the fifth time this season. It also marked the sixth time he has scored 20-plus points and the fifth time in his last six games.

    DJ Stewart added a career-high 20 points on 7-17 FGA with a career tying eight rebounds in the victory, as well.

    Trey Mourning (13 points on 5-13 FGA and career-high 16 rebounds) and Micah Potter (15 points and 16 points) combined for 32 rebounds, the most of a duo in any game this season.

    The victory marked the first time that the Skyforce has won while trailing at the half and after three quarters during the Showcase Cup.

    Emanuel Terry (18 points and 21 rebounds) and Damien Jefferson (18 points and six rebounds) led the way for Stockton (6-6).

    The Skyforce close out the 2021 NBA G League Showcase on Wednesday against the Austin Spurs (8-5). Austin comes into the contest off a 118-89 defeat of G League Ignite on Monday and have won its last five games. Tip-off is slated for 10:00 PM CST and will be streamed on ESPN+.
