    maybe the cortisone shot wore off and its back to bothering him again? has happened to me with a shot in my shoulder, worked for a few weeks and then right back to where I was and eventually I had surgery relatively soon after that

    its very difficult to foresee this team (even at full strength) turn around the season, way to many issues

    we might sneak into the play-in, we should actually, even with all our issues, we should still be the better team than the kings or the spurs

    hawks without three starters and hill is in the rotation, so thats four players, its a big loss for them

    they havent been playing well this season, not even close to the last season

    Yeah it only relieves the pain for a few weeks. During which you shouldn't be aggravating the injury. But you can't keep doing cortisone over time it will make the problem worse.

    I wish Dame would do himself a favor and take the season off, get the surgery, then pray for an impact player in the lottery. If "what's past is prologue" that's his one chance of getting to the finals in Portland.

    i think they would, if they could get dame to agree and when you think about it: dame gets the surgery to fix the abdominal issue, blazers tank and hopefully get a good pick and we come back next season with healthy dame and a good player

    dame has too much pride to do that though

    Someone should tell him about David Robinson. Stayed completely loyal. Took a season off and they got Duncan. And he won 2 championships. Played his whole career in SA.
