    "The Defiant Ones" and "Edge of the City" are my favorites also as a teacher, "To Sir, With Love."

    "Raisin in the Sun", "In the Heat of the Night", and "Lilies of the Field" are some of his best.

    He was also a civil rights activist at a time when it meant risking career. He said his aim was to portray Black men of education, accomplishment and refinement. Like they said in Hamilton, immigrants get the job done!
