Fair enough, Mexico is good for pandemic travel tho. I also really loved Rio when I went 10 years ago. I think it's a bit if a mess at the moment but high on my list of recommendation spots. A trip to Icguazu falls is epic also and should. E on everyone's bucket list.
I used to travel to Mexico pretty frequently for work, so I got a bit burned out on it. I've been to DF a few times, its a lot nicer than I expected it to be.
Im thinking of going to Vegas in March as the Doobies are having a 5o year tour starting there from what I understand.
I may go to the grocery store ...that's all the traveling I can see until the pandemic washes out....I want to go to Hawaii, Taiwan and New Zealand to see friends and family but not until I feel it's safe to travel.....I don't feel it's safe to travel at all yet....
at a certain point you just got to go for it. Not like Taiwan or NZ would let you in right now but there are lots of advantages to traveling in low crowds. Boost up, mask on, buy travel insurance, be reasonable while your traveling and there is no real problem. In fact most countries are better than the US at following guidelines, here in Mexico everyone wears a mask. If you work with the public in Mexico and dont wear a mask you risk big fines or even jail. I feel safer here than I did at home
yeah I'm not young...going to be 68 with heart conditions...I'll wait until it's on the retreat ..I feel safer in the foothills of the coastal range than I'd feel in any airport or airplane right now..especially for a long flight.. I'm in no hurry and probably in as safe a place as a person could be from crowds. My wife and I planned to make the trip this year but have postponed it for a safer future time...a lot of folks I know got infected from traveling.
Go hunt asians in the wilderness (whenever I go to wife's fam in Texas, I always tell her that's what's gonna end up happening at the parties).
Few asians live in the wilderness unless you're Nepalese dude...they are urban people! Not that you wouldn't get tied up to a longhorn steer for fun in Texas but hey....all in good fun eh?
I’m trying to convince the future Mrs. that we should go to a Saints game at the Superdome for our honeymoon. Surprisingly she’s open minded about it. We’ve both always wanted to go to New Orleans
New Orleans is the most interesting and most cultural American city. Vibes and food are awesome. It would be a great spot.
