    I'm glad he ended it before his legacy was destroyed. He held over 40 records!

    wow i thought he would play for 1 more year but guess not.. he was an awesome WR. Best of luck to him.

    Ahh it's sad to see the guy go. The best WR of all time, hands down, no question.It would have been cool to see him in Denver though, but best of luck to whatever happens next.HOF no doubt, peace Rice, thanks for the amazing years!

    He is the greatest WR in the history. Nobody will ever match his records

    He should sign a 1 day contract with the Niners to retire as a 49er.

    Hes a defeinite shoe in for the HOFand i think he only held like 37 recordsnot sure though

    He retired because he was made the 4th WR which was a stupid decision. Rice still has great hands and just because he is 40 doesnt mean he is washed up. He is in good shape. I wanted to cry lol.
