Tampa won.. surprisingly, culpeper was shut down.. Kelly picked of culpeper inside 10 yard line.. then caddy broke one for a td.. and to ice it.. with less then 1:30 left.. brooks picks it off..
Chiefs win 27 - 7. I told you biased Jets fans the Chiefs would win. They're defense didn't need time to get used to the team. On defense:They made Pennington look bad, they had to bring in Fiedler who scored. Pennington fumbled SIX TIMES, WTF, LOL. Then they shut down CMart. Nugent missed his only FG attempt. Derrick Johnson was beasting, 8 tackles, forced fumble, and sack. Surtain had a pick. Sammy Knight forced a fumble, as did Jared Allen. Surtain also recovered a fumble. And Kawika Mitchell recovered 2.On Offense:Then they made the Jets defense look bad. Larry Johnson ran only 9 times, but had 110 yards and 2 touchdowns. Priest ran 22 times and had 85 rushing yards and 1 touchdowns. Trent didn't do much. He had 200 yards passing, but no touchdowns and a pic to Law. Watch out for Kansas City.
Wow the Jets got handled easy. Just like that there 0-1 and in last place in the AFC East while the Pats, Bills, and even the Dolphins won. Jets looked like a divison 3 h.s team going up against a divison 1 superbowl team.
Thats One game, not sure what happened tonight, but sure we will come back agaisnt the dolphins next weekend!!
been trying to look at some positives, but hard to find!Think i will put that game out of my head and look forward to next weeks game, not gonna read any reports on it or anything!

I don't know what's up with Pennington. 6 fumbles, 1 int, and 0 touchdowns is definetely NOT GOOD AT ALL. It's more like HORRIBLE.

Instead this game was a meltdown, and a gift from the Jets.Their Defense was still awful. The scoreboard might say otherwise, but they allowed all kinds of yards to the Jets. Chad Pennington was 21 of 34 for 268 yards when you look at the stats because he was constantly driving on Kansas City. This is not even including several passes (at least 7 of them) which should have been completions which ended up as drops. The Jets got the ball into Kansas City's side of the field 6 times. The Chiefs had absolutely no answer for Laverneous Coles and Chris Baker who combined 13 receptions and over 180 yards(not including Coles's 2 dropped touchdown passes). While people are going to see this and think that the Chiefs defense was good or impressive, they really werent.The ONLY reason this game was a blowout, and probably the only reason that the Chiefs won this game, was because of the Jets recievers having a major case of the drops, and Chad Pennington having trouble holding onto the ball. If Pennington would have had a tighter grip on the ball, which im sure he will next week. This game would have been ours for the taking.The Chiefs offense was basically shut down after their third drive, the only reason they scored at all in the rest of the game was because they were given an extremly shortened field to begin with, the only problem is that we were down 17-0 after the third drive, but their offense wasnt very impressive with all the chances they were given.This game was more of a meltdown by the Jets then anything. Heimerdinger will go back out there and yell at the offense to hold on to the damn ball and im sure we will see a completly different Jets team week 2 against the Dolphins.
