Something quite wrong about a "SlyPokerCAT" not rooting for the Bengals.
    Meow, after all.

I don't view Burrow as the underdog like a lot of people seem to be doing here. He was at LSU and was the #1 pick. Yes, the Bengals haven't gone far in a long time, but if there was a team that was an underdog this week, I would have said the Bills with Josh Allen who started at a junior college and only had two offers to transfer. Eastern Michigan and Wyoming. He transferred to Wyoming and the rest is history.

Out of who is left, I want Mahomes to be the goat over Brady....because I hate Brady.

But, I also wouldn't mind seeing Stafford get one after all those years on the Lions.

It was funny seeing Stafford kick Suh and Suh telling Stafford he was gonna fuck him up.

    I’m thinking Bengals / Rams

Bengals winning a close one like last night’s crazy ending. Rams in a blowout over 49’ers.

That would be ironic, if true.

The only reason I can come up with for Buffalo being against it is, they were at the tail end of being really bad for a really long time, and maybe they figured they've got better odds of winning a coin flip in OT than they do of winning an evenly weighted extra period? That would be terribly short-sighted, but it's all I've got.

Every team should be in favor of something that promotes both sides feeling the outcome was fair, when they have no possible way of knowing in advance which side they'll end up on.

Ravens Name Mike Macdonald Defensive Coordinator (baltimoreravens.com)
"The Ravens are welcoming back Mike Macdonald as their new defensive coordinator.

Macdonald spent seven seasons (2014-20) on Head Coach John Harbaugh's defensive staff. The 34-year-old Macdonald continues his rapid rise in coaching after serving as a defensive assistant, defensive backs coach and linebackers coach in Baltimore before leaving to become the University of Michigan's defensive coordinator last season."

Im with Garcia on this one. Im for FOS but commentators dont know shit!

“Who the hell is Mina Kimes and when is the last time she threw a touchdown pass in a game?” Garcia asked in the post. “Never! Ever! has she taken a snap or can truly understand the ability, the mindset, the physical and mental toughness, that it takes to play the QB position or any position in the NFL. The fact that there are people out there given a platform to talk about something that they have never done is hilarious and that’s how you have to look at her, she’s a joke! So let’s just laugh at her and support Jimmy, root on our Niners to go out and beat the living (expletive) out of one more team. That’s what it takes. She will never know that feeling. Can I get an amen? Peace.”

I wonder if he said anything like this when he played for Andy Reid or Jon Gruden. Or if it's just female commentators that are deserving of his ire.

Its not just a beef against a lady commentator, if it was a guy saying the same stuff he would have responded. Read the comments she made. She was very critical in a public way and she needs to take the heat, if she's dishing. My wife would agree with this 100%.

She said Garoppolo was not helping the Niners win, that he has 2 TDs and 5 INT in the postseason, that he threw several interceptable balls, and posted a terrible QBR in the Packers game. None of those statements are unreasonable, and I'll guarantee he wouldn't have come at John Clayton for saying the same.

If Jeff Garcia disagrees with what she said, then he should come at...what she said. But he didn't--he came after her personally (a common logical fallacy known as an ad hominem attack), saying that she doesn't have the (ahem) credentials to critique an NFL player. But we all know what credentials prompt that kind of criticism.

As Kimes' response to Garcia pointed out, she was not the only person to critique Garoppolo's play last weekend, but she's the one who garnered Garcia's ire. Wonder why... My post above referenced a couple of head coaches of Garcia's who never played in the pros and never threw TD passes--again, I am quite certain he never challenged the validity of their citicism of QB play.

Maybe so....but if you take slam someone on the net and totally discredit a person as a media person they should be tough enough to get some back. Thats all this is...Happens on here all the time.

The dude just isn’t simply helping them win and at this point, I don’t know how you can argue otherwise. He’s clearly the worst quarterback left in the postseason.”
