I don't see how I could be "upset" by a months-old decision on a 14th man, but at the time I was certainly disappointed that we didn't keep him, and I definitely see how it could have benefitted us. At the same time, given the luxury tax considerations, I understand the decision.

    guessing here, but probably:

    Ant/CJ/Powell/Elleby/Nurk

with DSJ/Ben/Watford off the bench. Poor Greg. No minutes even when like 4 guys ahead of him go down.

given how open Chauncey seems to playing young guys, pretty damn bad. it's not like this coach has a mandate or proclivity only to play vets, unlike the other guy.

teams don’t practice much during the season. He’s the most raw player on the team, by far. Those two are a good recipe for not getting minutes. I’m pretty sure he will have to play tonight tho

Yes, both RoCo and Little are out - so a team with no size has even less.

Hard to see how you defend them. At least this time we have Nurk against their bigs, but that is it.

hard to see any of the remaining Blazers being able to defend Doncic

Nurk has to stay out of foul trouble

Looking forward to a close loss tonight and moving closer to selling off at the deadline and playing for a pick.

I was (and still am) a bit worried that we’ve been playing well enough to trick management into “going for it” this year, swapping our guards for some mid-tier wing pieces, then rushing Dame back at the end of the year to compete in the play-in.

This is still my fear, and thus, I hope we lose a lot between now and the deadline.

With Nurkic being so important on offense lately, he needs to stay out of foul trouble. Nurk and Billups and the team need to minimize Nurk's exposure to moving pick fouls. Nurk doesn't need to set those. Use someone else. Keep Nurk near/in the paint.
