Of all the athletes I have ever seen, I have never been more wrong on a career prediction than I was on Eliot Williams. Man, I thought he was gonna be a five time all star, slam dunk title, etc;.... Not only was he always injured, he couldn't shoot worth shit if he had the entire gym to himself.
Awful news. He was arguably our most important player and it's gonna suck that he doesn't have the remainder of the season to continue his rapid improvement. Saying all that, we are definitely going to tank. The three guard lineup will make us go back to losing. Get well, Nas.
I think this loss is worse than anyone we could possibly lose at this point. He’s on many nights the ‘motor’ of the team. I expect lots of losses to pile up. Which is a good thing.
I mentioned Little's injury to our Roomba as it was cleaning the floor and it beeped "fuck this" and went back to home base.
Yeah the only silver lining I could see from this is a potential lesson learned. He really needs to focus on playing smart without overly sacrificing his body.
He's very young and Im sure he will work his ass off to get back. When I saw the news....it made me Naz...sieted!
Nas reminds me a lot of another former Blazer, Gerald “Crash” Wallace - at least the crash part. Because of the physicality with which he plays he will likely be injured a lot over his career. He’s mentaly and physically invested in every play and hardly ever takes a play off which will make him injury prone. I hope I’m wrong, as I’ve really enjoyed watching him breakout this season.
The good thing is this will give Dame plenty of time to heal. Time to get as high a draft pick as possible now.
Well fuck it, he was playing so well and more consistent fukkin bummer. Oh well, the tank is certainly back on track
