You confuse me brother…..for somebody that has your political opinions and views on COVID that you do…..why take this stance on guns. Obviously everybody can view things however they want, but do you ever notice that your feeling about machine guns don’t align with the other messages you put out. Very interesting.
Dude, not sure if you realize how ridiculous this sounds. Not everyone fits into your boxes. You seem to buy into the left-right paradigm WAY too heavily. The world isn’t binary and most of the shit you see on tv doesn’t represent most people.

More guns, banning of books, not wanting women to have the right to choose, no such thing as global warming, voted for trump, against getting vaccinated…..yeah those don’t usually go together. Don’t know what I was thinking. I’m so ridiculous to think people with those traits would run in the same circle.
You just rattled off a list of things you don’t like and you want to put your stamp on anyone who might adhere to even one of them. Yes, it’s ridiculous. Hey just because an OVERWHELMING percentage of a type of person fit into one political party doesn’t mean you should ever make generalizations. I mean even if just one democrat has a gun, then everyone loves guns
I don't make decisions based on political leanings. I make decisions based on statistics. Vaccines are statistically proven to work with almost zero downside. Virtually no lives negatively impacted. Same with my proposed solutions on climate change and the homeless. The income gap. Healthcare. All upside, very little downside. However, prohibition doesn't work when something is in demand by millions of people. It never has. Booze, Marijuana, Hard Drugs, etc... We've already tried a national assault weapons ban. It didn't work. At all. In fact, it just made assault weapons more popular, and now we make hunting rifles LOOK like assault weapons. We've tried strict gun control in cities. It doesn't work. Every legitimate stat or study I can find in support of gun control I can find another stat or study showing it didn't actually work or that the pro gun control stat can legitimately be explained another way. I don't believe in removing people's rights, especially the middle class and poor, without rock solid evidence that it is necessary. And the gun control argument doesn't come close. We have far more effective, far less invasive, courses of action we can take. I will not support restrictions on laws abiding citizens until we address those issues first. The gun control debate is simply a never ending obstacle to getting the changes we actually need.
Which people was I defending? I’m trying to inform you that not everyone gets painted by your extremely wide brush every time you start generalizing the fuck out of everything and everyone. Keep showing us all how inclusive and open minded you are by getting confused and angry whenever someone steps out of your narrative.
Oh so you were informing me that EVERY SINGLE PERSON doesn’t think the same. Thank you so much for your help. I don’t need anything to make it easier. I think it’s lame when we all know that you can make generalizations and people should know what you’re talking about, but there’s always those people who just have to say “but but I know a Democrat who has a gun!”, or “no way man I know a Republican who hates trump”. Like no shit. But HCP was commenting on how it is strange (which it is) that Phat is very pro gun/2nd amendment but literally nothing else about him (at least from what I can tell) leans right. It’s not common. That’s all.

No worries. I encourage the conversation if it's in good faith. I simply don't believe in removing people's rights unless there are no other options. From what I can tell there are many other much more effective options.
