we have no choice but to see what Cronin can do, but that was a terrible first shot no matter how you try to rationalize it.

Yeah, nothing I said warranted this response. Sorry you didn’t like the trade. You’ll get over it.

    marks and hollinger.

I wouldn’t grade it because I don’t believe it should be looked at as one singular trade. It’s the first step and it was almost entirely cap related. They found someone to take the majority of Powell’s contract. We’ll see what the next step is, and then we can maybe grade the larger plan.

It was a personal attack at me because I listen to the weekly call that Jake Fischer of BR hosts and report what he says. He thinks I think Fischer's word is gospel even when all i do is simply post what that dude says. Don't pay him much heed. He becomes a 5 yr old when people disagree with him.

    As for grades.

USA Today gave us a D-.

Sporting News gave us a D.

    SI gave us a C

    CBS gave us a B-

Quick didn't grade it but essentially called us incompetent.

Powell has a reasonable deal. He should be seeing who will take CJ’s.

The one positive I can gain from this deal is that it ensures us more losses.

I don’t even care that we can re-sign Simons. Because we could have got back more tradeable assets had we made a better move.

I also don’t think a back court of Lillard and Simons is compatible. I think you need to choose one or the other. It could be another Lillard/CJ defensively incompetent duo.

    Neither thrive off the ball.

Might as well sell the team Jody and save your Paul Allen money.

It’s like people actually think their fantasy trade machine trades could have been done instead of this trade?
Does anyone honestly believe Cronin made a conscious decision to not make a better trade?
Because Jody wanted him to help the Clippers.

He is a bully. His act is tiring. Dude wanted to shove Highkin into a locker when the Chauncey stuff was happening then was posting his tweets to try to justify things the other day. Absolute homer and hypocrite.
