Three team deal that, with some picks sprinkled in, makes all three happy?

    CJ and Nance to Atlanta

    Simmons to Portland

    Bogdonavic and Collins to Philly

yeah, Im thinking he will be moved along with other assets to an eastern team. Atlanta, NO, Knicks, Indy? wherever but I do think if Joe wants the job he needs to trade him for front line help.

Have to have hope that Cronin isn’t inept and has a plan that hasn’t come to fruition right? Glass half full and what not!

If that was joint instead of tobacco, maybe I would understand this?

It's the Pelicans smoking, not the Blazers, so the tobacco actually makes sense.

Daryl Morey is waiting on James Harden. Do the Blazers really want Ben Simmons? Would the Nets have interest in CJ? Could a three way be in the future?

Not getting Ben Simmons. People need to move on from this.

Now it's Dallas, New Orleans and Knicks all wanting CJ. If we can't get something good out of this, I will be really disappointed.

Get ready for another give away! I'd probably go with Pelicans, Mavs and Knicks in that order in terms of desirable assets.

It'll be the one that saves us the most money, not the one that offers us the best players.

CJ has never been an all star but a damn good scoring guard. Because of his personality and involvement with media he will be welcome especially to a bigger market.
Again, when you are dumping players, teams never get back equal value unless they are super stars.

Hard disagree. We'll see, but this is Cronys one shot to prove he's a GM.

    YUCK!

    Knicks: We want CJ!
    Cronin: Great! What's your offer?
Knicks: Evan Fournier and Derrick Rose!

    Knicks: ...hello?

While I have accepted that we likely wont get an all-star caliber player for CJ I think it's absolutely ridiculous that we shouldn't get at least a very good starter level player (preferably a big) and/or a good pick. Getting a mix of decent borderline starters and/or bench players that aren't bigs is silly. As others have said I would rather keep CJ for now if thats the case and I have been ready to move him for years.

It’s gonna be the knicks for scraps….
Fournier is one of my least favorite players in the league and he’s gonna be a blazer

I doubt it just for the reason he's got a long contract. If CJ is dumped for scraps, at least they'll be on short contracts.

It’s more likely we’d get more value for him at the trade deadline than the offseason. Teams looking for that player to get them over the top during a playoff run.
