    Yeah, we'll get a big TPE probably the size of Larry's contract. I sincerely doubt we use it. Just imagine that someone offers Ant over 20M and we don't match.

    New owners want no commitments and a low payroll. Value is team ownership, not the players.

    Sell what team? There is a salary floor. We can't do what the Pittsburgh Pirates did for like a decade and just refuse to spend more than 20M on our squad and collect the TV revenue for a huge profit. Shit doesn't work that way. We have definitely decreased the value of this team in the last four days... no by much but any prospective owner is going to want a watchable team for their 2 billion dollars.
