Sorry guys, you know I would've made this thread before the game and would've been doing like game commentary (lol) but my cousin was using the laptop.Anyway, great first half for the Giants.The Saints I think wanted to do too much, I mean its just the first kickoff of the game. No need for that trickery, especially if it results in a fumble. Then the Giants just ran it down the Saints throat, with the great field position and all, and Jacobs powered his way into the endzone for the TD. Eli also looked pretty good. Him and Plaxico were simply driving down the field like it was only them two. Snap, throw, 1st. Over and over. That lead to a touchdown pass to Tiki where he was knocked down by a block from Diehl, his own teammate lmfao Thank god Tiki was fine. I did like how Joe Horn played though. Especially how he was able to hold onto that TD pass when he was hit pretty hard from behind while he was comming down. He looked shaken up but ended up being alrite. That was basically all the offense for the Saints, besides the FG at the end of the half. Giants also came up with that one interception. I didnt have that much of a problem with the taunting penalty, but then roughing the passer call was a bit of a joke if you ask me. Then that one play where the Saints recovered on the punt when it touched the Giants was just a wrong decision by Butler. Tiki also had another TD where he ran into the endzone untouched.So all in all, I think it was a very good first half for the Giants, besides the bit of downplay at the end with all the penalties on the Saints final drive. But the Saints aren't out of it yet, they can put points up in bunches if they want to. Will just have to wait and see..EDIT: Crazy fumble recovery by the Giants, then Eli bombs it and underthrows the open reciever, but a late hit is called.------------------Feeley kicks the FG and makes it after Shockey made the catch and got the Giants back to where they were before the penalty was called. 24-10.-----------------LMFAO Karney misses the 20-somtin' yard FG as it hits off one of the poles! -----------------Toomer with a great catch, Saints are challenging it but it looks like its a catch. But a stupid penalty by Diehl after the play, though it doesnt matter because the Saints also had a stupid penaly which canceled out the first penalty lol
God damnit, Eli with a great strike to Plaxico who makes a great catch but then there's an illegal formation penalty call on the Giants, so no TD EDIT: Wow Eli had to get rid of it quick and somehow lobbed it into a pack of Saints and Tyree almost caught it, but it ended up being an Incomplete...Feeley kicks the FG, 27-10.----------LMFAO WOW Horn tries to stretch out to score the TD and lets the ball go, and it hits the pylon making it a touchback lol Poor Horn, he is trying so hard..
So, the Giants closed out the game with a Interception on a potential scoring drive for the Saints. Game over. Giants win, 27-10
