Go find the videos. They are posted by protestors and the same journalists who were being assaulted by police and proud boys at many protests.

    Here's one...
    https://www.opb.org/article/2021/07...ty-of-arson-sentenced-to-48-months-in-prison/

And here is a videos of one of the proud boys attacking him (remember, the proud boys and police were attacking reporters as though they were protesters throughout)...

Stand by your statement all you want. It's just another example of you refusing to accept that your perspective is skewed.

There are plenty more videos like this, but again, since you have proven over and over that you actively reject evidence which proves you wrong, I'm not going to waste more of my time digging it up.

McConnell breaks with RNC: Jan. 6 'violent insurrection'

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) criticized the Republican National Committee (RNC) for its censure of Reps. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) and Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) and broke with their language on the Jan. 6, 2021 riot, calling it a “violent insurrection.”

“It was a violent insurrection with the purpose of trying to prevent a peaceful transfer of power after a legitimately certified election. ... That’s what it was,” McConnell said.

The RNC sparked fierce backlash after it described Jan. 6, when a mob of former President Trump’s followers breached the Capitol, as “legitimate political discourse” in a resolution censuring Kinzinger and Cheney.

Who was claiming January was “legitimate political discourse” as the author suggests? Nobody here that I’ve seen. Most agree it was lawless, shitty behavior. But comparing it to 9/11 and Pearl Harbor would be overblowing it, yes.

"You’d think every American, regardless of political affiliation, would want to know all they could about what happened on Jan 6, 2021."

They do I'm sure. Unfortunately we've learned the fact finders can't be trusted to show the whole truth, and nothing but the truth..

But you at least agree that January 6th was worse than a twinkie with no whip cream?

Modern buildings are nearly impossible to burn down in Oregon so depending on the extent of the damage most of those arson fires are going to be minor. I'm pretty sure all federal buildings are well protected. I worked on a Federal facility and had other friends in the business work on other facilities. Federal facilities have their own building code which, in my experience and the experience of fellow colleagues, is equal or superior to local building codes. Examples I'm using are the Crater Lake Lodge, a ranger station in Washington state and the Portland VA hospital. I couldn't compare fires in federal buildings with the attempted violent overthrow of the flagship of world Democracy which is like comparing the battering ram power of a sugar ant with an African bull elephant.

Look, It's easy to loath me because I'm more loathsome than the rest of the people in here which leaves you free to enjoy the company of everyone else in here. Just tell my shrink and my priest that I do serve a purpose somewhere in this world.

so first the bolded above is wrong based on your own link that said this in your post below:

“Agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives say they saw Bass squirt an accelerant on the main entrance of the Portland Police Bureau’s Central Precinct, which is part of the Justice Center, setting fire to the doors and an awning, court documents state.”

I didn't open the other two links because the first link proved your own statement false. Nice try…

you just proved your own revisionist history.
You just literally proved my point.
You twist shit to fit your satire….

Thanks for doing the research for me!!!! Lol.

Excellent point. I've bought that up before as well. Yeah there was no danger to anyone inside.

When did I say police didn't witness anything? Oh right, I didn't say that at all.

I said the video made available by protestors helped get convictions.

But please continue using your typical debate technique. It's entertaining.

when did i say you said that?? I quoted what you said. Then i quote the article that had the closest reference to your claim. Nothing in the article said the protesters turned anything over.
Instead of making your references back up what you say, you just post satire and then talk about heads up ass.

I mean really you cant see how you said the protesters turned in the arsonist evidence but the arrive says nothing of the sort??

    Reading comprehension skills are elite…

instead of proving your claim, you posted something that did nothing of the sort, then claim my head is up my ass.

You are not this stupid. Not sure why you insist on playing games other than you aRe severely biased and not at all impartial about what occurred at both events.
And you have a right to be biased. But don't expect me to take it as any more than a grain of salt filled satire…

now you can take your bs and move on to someone else. Your back on the mental ignore list because you know…I showed you how your references didn't back up what you said and you say my head is up my ass.

So rich and so disgusting at the same time…

Trump is proud of you and your fake news!

Dude, the Republican National Committee claimed it was “legitimate political discourse”. Verbally and in writing. Like somehow, someway such an “august body” making the claim will magically transform it into something it most obviously wasn’t. That the national mouthpiece for one of the major political parties in America would make such an inane and clearly self serving statement in the face of all the evidence makes what happened much worse than it already was. It might not have been the equivalent of Pearl Harbor or 9/11, but it was one of the most serious threats to America in it’s history….and still is. If you can’t see that, then that it’s on you. I’m glad I am the age I am, because the America the conservatives are leading us to is not an America I want to live in. Fuck ‘em all, big and small. The Republican Party is anti Democracy and anti Constitution. And shame on anyone who gives them cover in any way, shape or form.

Here is the quote that Vice President Harris said that has Johnnyboy concerned/upset/outraged.

“Certain dates echo throughout history, including dates that instantly remind all who have lived through them, where they were and what they were doing when our democracy came under assault,” Harris said at the Capitol, kicking off a day of events commemorating the Jan. 6 attack.

Harris said some dates in U.S. history "“occupy not only a place on our calendars, but a place in our collective memory. December 7th, 1941. September 11th, 2001. And January 6th, 2021.”

Was Jan 6th as bad as Dec 7th or Sept 11th? No. Does it have simple date recognition of an event? Right now yes. Not sure if that will fade over time but for now if someone says January 6th people are going to know exactly what you are referring to.

I want the whole truth also. But all I’m hearing from the Right about January 6 is innuendo and red herrings. Just because they make an accusation doesn’t make it so. Where is the proof?? And do you REALLY think the Republican Party cares about the truth???? Their obstruction of the investigating committee is all the proof America needs about the Republicans desire for the “truth”. I guess I’m just a naive old man but I am utterly kneecapped by the denial of the Right. As far as I am concerned, the Democratic Party is only stooping to Republican tactics because it has been so fucking effective for the Republicans (and why we have been under minority rule for most of three decades). And sadly, that spells the eventual demise of Democracy……..this ain’t the America I grew up in or was taught to respect. America as it currently stands is a joke…..and we the citizens are the punchline.

Excellent, please do ignore. I'm not sure how making the video publicly available and putting out fires for months isn't considered assisting, but I guess if you're biased and want to believe your twisted perspective then I guess you'll just make it work.

Here's another one... I guess the informant just happened to be there, at a protest, like the other steamers and reporters who police assaulted for months... But I guess since they didn't list the name and address of the informant we can't be sure...
