Incorrect. We get it 5-14

Thank you. Top 3 protected makes way more sense! Thought I saw a woj tweet saying it was protected 4-13 and couldn't understand the logic.

Where do you think the Pels end up?

Part of me feels we'll get screwed, and they'll sneak in to the playoffs, and we don't get a pick for 2 years.
But, I haven't looked at their schedule to know how difficult it is coming up. Will also depend on zion returning. If he comes back and is at all healthy, I can see them knocking off like, Minnesota in theb play in game.

So when we play the Pels, do we want to win and hurt our lottery chances, but increase the odds we get the Pels in the lottery?

holy crap! You just made my head hurt with that conundrum!!!

We were supposed to pick 7th and wound up with the 4th.

I can only hope New Orleans with CJ has as much success as the Nets did with their newly acquired Gerald Wallace.

And after we thank them for the pick, we can draft another first ballot hall-of-famer.

Well right the Pels will have to win 2 games in play-in to make it in the playoffs.

We will be a junior training ground for more young picks.

Also, we should probably root for the Kings and Spurs. They are 1 game back of N.O
(in the win column)

The most important thing is that they don't win the play in. They probably won't drop below 10.

In the play in, 7 seed hosts 8 seed one game. The winner goes to playoffs. The 9th seed plays the 10th seed. The loser is in the lottery.
Then, the loser of 7 v 8 plays the winner of 9 vs 10. The winner goes to the playoffs, the loser to the lottery.
If the Pels end in 9 or 10, they will have to win 2 games to get to the playoffs. If they lose the first game or second game, they're in the lottery.

so, let's hope Zion misses the rest of the season and they miss the Playoffs
The pick they gave us is not based on Pelican’s record. It’s based on the Lakers’ record. It’s the Lakers pick.

So at home were trail and road not?

Looking at the schedule, the blazers have to really try at tanking, hence the trades. Though I like to call this talent acquisition mode.

Obvious best scenario: #1 and #5 picks

Chet & Johnny Davis

:bored:

The top 4 teams are determined by lottery balls and then it's by record after that. Meaning the only way we end up with NOP pick at #5 is if they're one of the top 5 worst teams in the league. This seems highly highly unlikely. We'll be lucky if the NOP pick is in the top 10.
