What is the attraction of Portland versus say, Las Vegas, where which has world class dining, entertainment and they are able to entertain their clients, associates, etc. There is a state of the art arena available in the T-mobile arena (the MODA Center is dated) and one that is going to be built.

I get ya, there isnt anymore. There used to be a time when it was viewed as a very solid franchise with super fan base, put demographics are and will change. Portland could not attract an All Star Game in all its years, and it wasnt just because Stern black balled us because we circumvented the salary gap and pissed him off. The things you mention are a factor then and now.
