Yes. As long as we're not combining recently-acquired guys' salaries in order to match incoming salary value on our end, we can absolutely trade them out together.

So (for example) if Detroit wanted Bledsoe/NAW for Grant, that works as Bledsoe for Grant and NAW for nothing on our side (creating yet another TE for us), and all is well.

Might not reduce their tax though; in that case we can be the third team eating salary for a pick.

I don't think Hart going anywhere I another trade due Hart is type player that Billups likes. Plus we getting players that has some height to them minus bledsole plus there defense stats are better majority of our guys. It's like everyone looks how good there offense is or can they shoot a 3 point shot. Problem I don't see it that way in a lot people minds. What I want see a player can play both ends and fit in with players he playing with on the floor. Just because you can score a lot points don't mean your best player on floor it's mean your probably putting a lot shots up majority of the time to get those points. But the other end your giving just many points. I am not saying the players we traded wasn't good players but most of it came on the offense end not defense end except maybe Roco but he had his moments on defense too. Right now I don't knows how these players going fit and nobody else knows either that's includes the coach. So we knock trades all we what but who knows the players we get just might fit better then the ones we sent out that's why you let play out. Usually individual play by players the outcome usually not very successful in any team sports.

NAW was the one younger guy we got that I thought might have a chance of being in a rotation and on a cheaper contract at $5 million next year. He's already a double digit scorer. Didi and Keon are a few years away from a few years away, as will be our picks.

Do we next trade away Hart and Nurkic?

The rebuild continues to get longer and longer.

Here’s what I’d like to accomplish today or tomorrow:

    1. trade Bledsoe for Siakam and include (2) second round picks

    2. trade Nurkic (plus sweetener) for Boucher

    3. acquire Simmons for our trade exception, our own 1st and New Orleans 1st and Josh Hart

    Ant
    Dame
    Siakam
    Simmons
    Boucher

and we get this done before signing Dame’s extension and Ant’s.

He averaged double digits cuz he chucked up shots while shooting 37% from the field and 31% from the 3.

    no thank you.

I'd hold out for Giannis and Doncic.

Given the path they may need to take, I would suggest holding on to the TPE until they have hopefully used the cap space to acquire a good player, then signed Simons to his extension, then use the TPE when they are over the cap to acquire another player. So that would be After Aug 1, correct?

right, but we can also use the TPE now and arrive at the same destination if we think there's a player worth using it for. Prolly hurts our tanking goal, but those same players available now might not be available later.

I feel like Bledsoe and Windslow are the guys Cronin wants to now dump at about $4 million salary each next season.... He is addicted to cutting salary and can't stop.

Although he could've just traded Norm for an expiring and not have to worry about it.

No; TPE have to be renounced to use cap space.

1/2 would be contingent on each other, I assume? Even if, no way TOR takes Nurk/picks/filler for Siakam and Boucher.

3 is not a legal trade. Also we can't trade our 1st.

I think the TPE can only be used if you are over the cap. Some capologist needs to clarify please.
