    Or, they just didn't want the 5M salary but needed it to make the deal work, and figured NAW would be easier to dump than Hayes.

    I am not going to say I believe the Blazers will be moved cause I DO NOT but one could say this looks like they clearing salary to make the team more attractive to a NEW Owner so that owner could put his own mark on the team.

    I am not saying Jody is selling BUT it would not shock me if this news broke at some point in the near future ( next 2 yrs ) just saying ....

    Why would they not trade Dame then? Are they bamboozling Dame by telling them they're trying to build a contender but stripping it down to parts to sell the team?
