    Apparently we are valuing Hughes.

    The Blazers value Hughes as a developmental prospect and continued to create financial flexibility by trading for Ingles, who is making $14 million in the final season of his contract.

    I'm not trying to beat the obviously dead Ben Simmons horse but if we can facilitate a sign and trade with one of our lotto picks, a signed and traded Nurk and a big TPE to the Nets while we get Simmons... that could be a possibility if Cronin tried for Simmons now and was rebuffed but still really wants him.

    I don't think the idea that LaVine or Harden are coming here on there own is at all realistic so I hope Joe's not banking on some shit like that. However there might be teams that want a draft pick and cap space or a TPE that would do unbalanced trades for star players they aren't happy with. We'll just have to wait and see. Like probably wait six excruciating months and then see.

    I think right now we value anyone who's contract isn't guaranteed for next season. Joe seems to have a one track mind to clear cap space for this summer with a little background noise of getting some draft assets at the same time, if it's convenient.

    I'm digging all the draft picks we're getting. Gives us a lot of options to move up in the draft. Trade those 2nd's to move up late in the first round. Trade our first and second rounder to maybe move up to the top three in the draft. Lots of options. Loving it.
