Offseason makes more sense because he’d probably hurt the tank. But I ain’t giving up two firsts for him fuck that (and I like him!)
Here is the question DO we want Grant right now anyways he might WIN the Blazers a few games hurting the lotto chance odds Better case is this on Draft day -- Blazers Trade a player ( maybe ) , Bledsoe's Contract and IF the Pels make the playoffs throw in that 1st cause by then it would be a late 1st IF that and maybe a 2nd for Grant Maybe Bledsoe's contract cannot be traded at that time not sure but that would make more sense but again a gamble.
Whoever the fuck this guy is he better be wrong and if I could down vote you for posting this I would. (Not actually mad, carry on)
Agreed, I was throwing that out there under the assumption that we had already acquired a 3/4 (e.g., Grant).
Saw something saying the Pistons want 2 firsts for Grant. Yeah, No. Absolutely No. Unless, of course, they are saying they'll give someone two firsts to take him....
Grant hasn't won a game since the middle of November and they are 4-25 with him. We might want to trade for Grant in order to tank.
Yeah I think the TPE really needs to be used after we've spent all of our cap space otherwise what was the point of creating the TPE and still desperately trying to clear cap space. We can use the 40M+ in cap space, wait to sign the guys we drafted and then trade their rights or one of their rights with the TPE for a guy like Grant that can contribute now and is making a high salary that the TPE can absorb.
Grant didn't prevent Denver from making it to the Western Conference Finals. (not saying he was critical, but he didn't prevent it). My worry with Grant would be , can he accept his role on the team, not being the main guy.
If he comes here with the understanding that he's not #1 (or even #2) and he has to bring the defense every night, I think he would be good. Apparently he and Dame were tight during the Olympics so I'm sure he isn't expecting to come in and take the top spot.
Pistons would be foolish to hold out on trading Grant. They could get more for him if they trade him before the deadline.
Yes, yet I am still not stupid enough to trade a promising 22-year-old because of covid, a concussion, an ankle sprain, or dehydration. Only the shoulder injury was serious.
I don't get the Jerami Grant hate. He's a prototypical 3D wing with length, a solid outside threat & would provide versatility fitting well with anyone. Of course they'd love to add him as he's better then any forward they've had for years. But as with any roster acquisition the question is...whats the price? STOMP
