    Addition by subtraction.
Dear Lord didn't ANYBODY notice the ball movement last night?
More heart and hustle than we've seen with this team?
That...is what's been accomplished so far. The puzzle doesn't finish 'till July.

I don't think so. Those guys were going to be shipped out anyway. I don't think we were going to get a better return with those salaries.

    Ya right...

There are some inside the Blazers organization who are pulling for Cronin to get the job. They are giving that endorsement because they have heard from others around the league who were in trade meetings and privy to player evaluations. Want to know why Portland got so little in return for those players who were in the starting lineup? The rest of the league didn’t value them, certainly not to the level of their salary. Among the cap brainiacs and the talent evaluators around the NBA, Cronin is being celebrated.

I mean..... RoCo is an expiring lol. And he is still a serviceable player.

CJ was massively overpaid. I don't think anyone would argue that.

I will die on the hill that Norm was paid fairly and he's still a very good starter.

I'll trust Masai's judgement, Norm is good - not great. But we should have gotten a pick back.

I agree he isn't great, but he's not really paid like he's great. He's paid like he's good. Dude was playing out of position.

We might need a "give Cronin a raise" thread before this is all said and done.

I don't care how these deals turn out. We should have gotten more assets back in the Clipper deal.

For the people bitching that RoCo had value; on a team without Paul George and Kawhi Leonard, he played 10 minutes off the bench last game. And tonight in a game that Norm didn’t even play, he played 11 minutes off the bench.

He was a bench player on an expiring contract. No team was going to give up any assets for him. If they wanted him, they can just sign him in the offseason for free.

Norm wasn't paid unfairly. His contract is just too long. If he only had 2 years left we would have gotten a far better haul.

Like 1st round? Who was going to give us a pick for him? I think if we could have gotten a pick we would have.

They won tonight too. They’re 0-3 when Norm plays.

Covington is going to sign up to play for free? Is that even allowed? Who can we get for free?

I think that means without giving up any other assets.

They could just pay him in the offseason.

Is this indicative of the people who hated the trade and the people who now love the trade?
