<span style='font-size:21pt;line-height:100%'>Vikings vs Saints</span>Preveiw:The Vikings face the saints in a must win game. At 0-2 they must turn it around agaist the homeless Saints. After two wildly un-sucsesfull weeks Vikings QB Daunte Cullpeper will have to turn it around somehow. Will it be short passes with main target Nate Burleson out? Will he just try to run it? Will he try to go long to rookie Troy Williamson or maybe try to get it to Koren Robinson? Will they run it more? We are about to find out.The Saints have had a rough season on the road after there homeland was wiped out in the massive Hurricane Katrina hit. Forced to play a so called "home opener" at Giants Stadium which they lost 27-10 a week after upsetting the Panthers.Notes:<ul>[*]Nate Burleson will be out for two weeks due to a sprained left knee.[*]Safety Darren Sharper will be out as well with a calf injury.[/list]Prediction:Vikings 24-13Vikings will turn it around. Still not completely on there game but they'll get the win.Its time for kickoff at the Dome!
Wow, Vikings strike early!A fumble by the Saints on the kickoff. Windfield gets in on the Saints 24! Then Cullpeper fires to Travis Taylor on the first pass of the game for a 24 yard TD! Go Vikings! This is how we need to play!
We got a Field Goal to make it 10-0 our kicker just missed another field goal though from 33 yards away. Sad.Peper is having a much better game. 3/6 for 98 yards. 1 TD no interseptions or fumbles. M and M has 4 carys for 52 yards. Once again he's killing the Saints. Marcus Robinson also has a 68 yard catch but no TD for him.Lance Johnstone just got his second sack of the season for -5 yards. Good work!Moore for -1... You can do better...Makes it up with a 4 yard cary. 3rd and 7...Peper to Wiggins for 9 yards to NO's 14 for a first down! Get another TD boys!Moe for a yard...Yes!!!! Peper to Taylor again this time for 13 yards! Vikings are crusing now with the most TD's yet in any game this season. Daunte's looking sharp.Extra point is good. 17-0 Vikings all of this in the first quater!
Troy Willimson got a 53 yard TD!! Wow thats just what he needs to do. 24-6 Vikings though. The Saints just scored then they tryed for a 2 point conversion and failed!Peper is 9/13 with 198 yards. 3 TD's no interceptions or fumbles. Once again this is just under 2 minnutes left in the 1st half! Vikings have the ball now.
