I'm not sure why they didn't at the deadline; makes me think that Houston wants something more than a 2nd round pick or that teams are just scared of a guy that old with injury history.

Well, duh. Stotts adjusted the scheme to the roster, Billups tried to force the scheme on the roster - and it did not work - so the roster had to change. Luckily for Billups, NeO is no longer in charge. It was always the roster.
