Both with Injured Right Shoulders and awaiting MRI's on them. Fiedler is saying that he is out for next week and Pennington is saying that he will play, but its sounding unlikely he will be given clearance to play.Jets | Bollinger Preparing to StartMon, 26 Sep 2005 11:17:29 -0700New York Jets head coach Herman Edwards said the team is preparing for Week 4 as if QB Brooks Bollinger, the team's No. 3 quarterback, will be the team's starting quarterback during Week 4.

he might go out and have a great game, trying to prove himself worthy of carrying a team with a losing record to victoryhe also might go out and lose.I say he has a good game and they win if hes gonna start, because it seems like most backups do well in these situations--proving themselvesseems like Pennington has lost his poise, or something, he doesnt look comfortable--SOMEONE NEEDS TO STEP UP

Well, if its any good sign were playing Baltimore next week and they have no offense so it shouldnt take much points to win. [IMG]

Yeah but with that team you never know what side of the ball is gonna score, their defense has the talent put up more points than their offense off turnovers--always expect that from the Ravens

I mean yeah they are a good defense but that's not what I was talking aboutThe Ravens are notorious for turnovers, when you think of the Ravens do you think of them strong offensively or defensively? Probably better known for their D. And I would say the Jets are less capable of turning over the ball than the Ravens.Jets are more of a well-rounded team, whereas the Ravens are strictly defensive IMO.Ray Lewis, Primetime, Terrell Suggs, Ed Reed, Samari Rolle...I dare you to name Jets defenders that are better than these guys. Vilma, Shaun Ellis and Ty Law just aint gonna cut it.

If we can put 10+ points on the board I like the Jets chances in this game to be honest.

WHO IS Erik Coleman, Dewayne Robertson, Kerry Rhodes, Victor Hobson, Eric Barton, David Barrett, and James "Tank" Reed?Let me know the next time one of these guys turns the game around for their team and has a key play. Low odds.

[IMG] )James "Tank" Reed, he recovered the Fumble and ran it in for a touchdown last week.Barton had an off game because he has a hurt ankle, but usually racks up the tackles.Erik Coleman almost stole Rookie of the Year from Jon Vilma last year because of his terrific play at safety. Those didnt completly turn around the game, and that was only last week.

I just heard Pennington might be out for a long time and Feidler will be out for 4-6 weeks, if that happens looks like Bollinger will have to step in.

Jets | Fiedler Has Separated ShoulderMon, 26 Sep 2005 17:47:35 -0700ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports New York Jets QB Jay Fiedler (shoulder) has a separated shoulder. Jets | Pennington MRI Shows Tear; Going for Additional TestsMon, 26 Sep 2005 17:15:06 -0700Continuing an ongoing storyline, ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports New York Jets QB Chad Pennington's (shoulder) MRI did indeed show a torn rotator cuff. However, due to potential previous scar tissue, there is hope it may not be a tear after all. Pennington, as reported, will go for a second opinion on his shoulder. If he does have a torn rotator cuff, his season will officially be over.

Yeah it sucks for the jets, looks like the dolphins of last year all over again, injuries kill a team. Who knows maybe they can pull through it, but not likely

His career is probably going to be over.

Both of the plays kept the Game close to the Jets and if we had any sort of an offense we would have won. [IMG] Meanwhile Dewayne Robertson and the Jets defense held Jamal Lewis to 81 yards rushing on 29 Attempts or a 2.7 average after he held Fred Taylor to a 2.6 average rushing the week before (98 yds on 37 attempts) and overall we shut down Baltimores offense.
