Which forward would be the best fit under this new system:

    Jerami Grant
    John Collins
    Julius Randle

Our pick + 2nd rounder + Eric Bledsoe for Christian Wood would be amazing.
Retool and Rebuild at the same time.

He'll have one year left on his contract, and might want to stop losing so much.

Who else is starting? My gut says not JR .....
I am assuming Grant is the better defender and Collins is the better 3 pt shooter?
Collins also seems to be a better rebounder. I would go with Collins

I like Collins age too. He fits well if we decide to just go full youth movement.

Collins would be great. What sort of deal would you propose?

im torn between randle and collins. Collins is more efficient but Randle actually had an all NBA caliber season when engaged. And he's a better defender.

    Grant a distant third.

My concern with Randle..... what happened?

I don't follow the Knicks. I know that relationship has soured considerably..... but why?

i think Thibs wears on his players by year 2/3. And expectations way too high.

Plus Randle's shot went back into the tank.

I kinda wonder if their flop in the playoffs really got to him. They're trying to use him as a #1 and the guy just isn't a #1.

One thing that happened is he went from 41% from three to 31 % from last year. That is a big drop.
Also, your question was which of the 3 fit best with the new system. 4 games is a small sample size but again I think we are all excited about the pace. Can they sustain that? Can you even sustain it in the playoffs? Which of the 3 is best to work with great ball movement. Doesn't JR play best when dominating the ball He is great at creating his own shot though. But Collins is the better jump shooter

Portland sends whatever it takes for Houston to give up Wood, Wood goes to Atlanta, Collins comes here.

I’d give up a lottery pick for him.

but before going after Collins I’d try and get one of the wolves two PFs, Vanderbilt or McDaniels.

Grant, the other two don’t play D. I like Collins the most though.

That's what I struggle with. Grant is the better defender of the 3 for sure. Collins is the overall better player, youngest, and locked in. I would think Grant fits Chaunceys vision more than Collins. I like his ability to match up and have switchabilty on the wing, alongside Nas and Hart. I don't think Collins offers that, and don't believe Randle does.

Collins has really improved his defense the last year and a half. He completely shut down Randle in the playoffs last year. I think he would be a great add, assuming Atlanta is still open to moving him

I just picture Collins as strictly a 4, not likely to cover a kawhi, George type, and I think Grant can do that
