nurk will never be efficient like gobert or capela, their playing style is nothing alike (nurk is more skilled offensively) and hes not naturally talented on the offensive side of the floor like kat or jokic or embiid there are four centers better than current nurk (jokic, embiid, kat & gobert), after that i dont know if theres anyone else for whom you can say thats clearly better than nurk, but we can have a discussion
Just my opinion, but I think Nurk is better than KAT. At his best Nurk will give the other 3 problems as well.
if certain things didnt happen (dame & cj mccollum injuries, powell issues), nurk wouldve been traded most likely (jason quick was often saying that nurk & roco will most likely get traded and even jake fischer was saying the same), as "role player" nurk wasnt someone who should be "untouchable" (neither he should be now, but you get the point, current nurk is much better player than "role player" nurk), so those guys being out allowed nurk, ant & little to emerge with bigger roles and that showed a lot to chauncey billups & front office, it showed that cj mccollum & powell need to get traded and that we wont miss them with the way nurk, ant & little have been playing, team looked balanced and there was great chemistry between them after nurk emerged with bigger role, trail blazers completely changed their perspective about him and after we got hart & winslow, our defense became much better (theres a good chance that was lucky incident or maybe front office & billups knew what they were doing all along) and nurk also proved to be a great fit with these guys too, so they become even more convinced about their decision to re-sign nurk nurk is showing that he can deliver with the bigger role and we saw that hes great fit with dame, ant, little, hart & winslow and he really likes chauncey billups and trail blazers became aware thats the guy you simply have to keep, simple as that!
i really want him to work entire off-season and improve his low post game and also to keep working on his 3-pointer as of now, nurk basically have one move at the low post (spin move), but if he can improve that part of his game (combined with big body & strength), he will become force to be reckoned with man, god willing, we could be a really, really good team next season, hopefully nurk, ant & little improve further in the off-season

Why would the team go back to playing like that? Nurkic won't be the only unhappy one. It's a big FU to how they are playing now.
Shot quantity shouldn't be the issue. To me it's shot quality. Are we going to see crappy box scores again where one of ant or lillard shoot 8 for 21 for 20 points? For me that's an instant fail for that backcourt.
Well, then maybe those teams will be interested in trading for the right to pay him. It's a good problem to have.
8 centers better than Nurk: Jokic Embiid KAT Gobert Jonas Ayton Sabonis Bam Sure, Nurk plays like Top 5 sometimes but the above players are more consistent.
I'd put Nurk and Valuciunas in a tier directly below the top-7. I'd move Jarrett Allen into Nurk's tier with Val. Mobley and Wood would be in the tier directly below Nurk, but they have lots of upside
if nurk can play consistently like hes been playing with the bigger role, id put him in the top 5, but sure, someone might say its adebayo or sabonis or ayton the thing is, nurk never had bigger role consistently
