said it before, n again. id love to see brandon clarke on this team - he's a gritty player and would fit in amazing here. he's got JJJ eating the bulk of the minutes starting atm but he's a beast off the bench i like winslow, but he's a bit of a tweener but him n clarke runnin the PF side of things would be energetic at least. nurk is playing well, but hey its extension year, go figure. if we extend him i fully expect him to go back to ugh subpar nurk gonna be tricky as to how best to balance the minutes when dame is back with simons and hart playing so well.
I like Clarke a lot too. But I am not sure how Winslow is a tweener and Clarke is not. Clarke has a 6'.8" 1/4 wing (8'.6" standing reach at 215 lbs) Winslow has a 7'.3 1/2 wing (8'8" standing reach at 222 lbs) Hart by the way is the same size as Clarke.
It's kinda weird to see that for his career his 3pt% hovers around 32-33 with how light out he has shot in those 4 games. Especially since it doesn't look that flukey because to me his shot and release are really smooth. Hopefully he can improves on those shooting splits here.
he landed on a personal peak in Portland his career mark on two's is 56.9% (which is good by the way) and he's shot 68.4% in Portland. His career mark to three's is 34.8%, and he's shot 52.4% in Portland. But of course, that's over 3 games his conversion rates will drop. And sure, maybe he can post his best percentages in Portland. I think it's the other things he does that have more value though
Yeah, Hart is great, I was just surprised by his career 3pt percentage because his stroke looks nice to me (Unlike say, Winslow making both his 3 pointers against memphis with that questionable shooting motion)
Hart is the one I target Portland to draft but instead we got swangen. I watch him a lot in college and like what I seen.
Ok so then you would have no problem pointing out which one of these are his ‘21-22 splits then, right boss?
Not saying this means anything (I don't want to stir up the irrational hatred people on this board have for +/-) but over the last ten games in the NBA... (Cue everyone saying Josh only looks good because he's playing alongside Dame...) Sidenote: looks like Thibs can still coach...
If you've seen Ted Lasso: "He's here, he's there, he's every-fucking-where.....Josh Hart!....Josh Hart!" Highest effort player since Jerome Kersey.
In the words of Dame earlier in the season, "I've never played with a guy like him before! He's everywhere all the time."
