Is Mess doing shots during the game. He said that Miller reminds him of a young Larry Robinson. Though, I must admit since Miller started getting bashed on the chat boards, his game has been much, much, better. He's playing well now. When Mess made that comment I could have swore he was taking about Schneider. I had to hit the rewind button.
 
I missed that lol. If miller turns into Larry Robinson that would be amazing. Igor is the best player as always every single game. I dont know but he might end up being even better than Hank. lol

32 million in cap space. More than all eastern playoffs teams combined. I think Drury will make some changes by the trading deadline.
 
They need a 3rd pair dman and a forward. Jones needs more strength and Hajek evidently can't be relied on much. I think Jones will go in some sort of deal. Giordano would be a great vet to pair with Schneider.
 
He’s not factoring in the contracts on the books next year that aren’t on the books this year like Fox
 
Yeah i think for the rest of this year they have about 7m before any deals. 32m must be after the year is up.
 
Zibanejad got a 3 million raise. So right off the bat that’s 12 million less and I’m sure Kakko is going to get a least 2 million. They might also try to lock him into a four year $16 million deal if they think he’s going to break out so they could have some control over him. Personally I would give Kakko four years at 16 million because I think when he takes the next step if it’s significant it’s going to cost is 6 million instead of only four
 
If they trade Chytil that will give them about 10m to work with at the deadline. Enough for 2 players.

Fox has not been the same since he got hurt in that game. He’s playing timid.
 
That is how much pro-rated cap space they have left for the remainder of this year. Next year when raises and such go into effect, is a whole different situation.

For this year if these 3 things happen, the Rangers can play with any team IMO:

1. Add a middle 6 forward
2. Add a vet LD
3. Get Kakko back healthy

If those 3 things happen, with Igor in goal, and the team they currently have in place, I think the Rangers can absolutely threaten to win a Cup.

Drury needs to get it done. We have a golden opp right now before all these raises. We have plenty of picks and prospects from which to trade. And we don't need to add studs either. Good solid middle 6 forward, and a 2nd pair type LD. He needs to close the deal.
