It is definitely one of the most bizarre twists of the 21st century. I never thought I'd see pro-Russian sentiment among Americans.... and the funny part is that most of them would proudly yell WOLVERINES or some dumb shit if we were attacked by Russia.
This is wrong. This can cause crazies to start attacking russian americans, much like muslims after 911. Reckless and dangerous. The government, the military, fair game. What they are doing is atrocious and will likely be devastating for decades. But we have got to stop lumping all in one. There ARE innocent people who are not strong enough to stand up to the government. Just because they may lack the courage doesn't make them evil, especially those who fled/migrated to this country.

Don't underestimate the stupidity and xenophobia of others. It can happen and already is. The longer this thing goes on the worse it will get. I agree that Russian Americans needs support, much like Asian Americans did during the pandemic and Muslim Americans during 9/11 times. Facebook is the worst thing to happen to us and is literally promoting hate for advertising clicks. It's their business model. Zuckerberg doesn't care who hates who as long as they click.
