This is pretty funny. 8 games into the tournament. We are looking at half of the first round games have been played and there are only just over 192 perfect brackets remain.
ESPN says 161 in their contest.

This tournament has proven you really should just make 30 brackets and just click blindly.

Aside from the Kentucky upset and a couple of not uncommon 12-5's, it's been pretty chalky so far.

    Again, primarily because of Kentucky.

I don’t see any players that can help the Blazers. Not a good draft year, maybe we should trade our picks for veteran to help Dame

My fear is that the Blazers are targeting Chet and his body won’t be able to hold up in the NBA. Another top 7 foot big man bust Selected by your Portland Trail Blazers!

Yeah. I think it's very important not to get locked into a draft just because we have draft picks, if there is a better option. It's hard to figure.

I think Jabari and Paolo would immediately make us much much better. That being said, if we don't win big in the lottery it will be better to improve by trading the picks. Who knows though maybe there is some really great prospect that will be able to make an impact right away that our front office likes a lot, that we're just not seeing.

Problem is everyone is saying that exact same thing and they are not giving anything up for a pick that will hit 6-10.

Yeah. There’s 0 NBA quality players in this draft. None at all.

It’s a catch 22. *most* players who can help right away, are going to be drafted lower because they’ve got a low ceiling.

For instance, going back to my earlier comparison. Mark Williams is probably NBA ready right now. But he probably is going to be a solid big off the bench for his career. Jalen Duren might not be as ready but there’s a whole lot more potential there.
Wendell Moore might fit that bill as well. He might be the most NBA ready on Duke, including Paolo. But he’s probably not going to get much better.
