Manning has great awareness and will get u the ball no matter what. McNabb can air it out just as good as Manning and is also more of a playmaker since he has the ability to scramble. Who would you rather have?
Easily McNabb.Reasons: Heart, loves his team & is dedicated to winning, CANNON for an arm, scrambling ability, plays hurt, leader, precise/accurate passer.Manning just can throw the ball far and accurately IMO.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (JHair @ Oct 5 2005, 09:33 PM)</div><div class='quotemain'>Manning just can throw the ball far and accurately IMO.</div>Isnt that the whole point of being quarterback...throwing the ball to your reciever so you get points on the board to help win the game..Manning has dedication too
I was saying McNabb has all that PLUS MORE, thus making him the better QBHe's a double threat--he can runnn runn runnn if he needs that first downHe's dedicated, loves his team and will do anything to get the WHe plays better than most healthy QBs when he's hurtenHe can roll out of the pocket and throw on the run and he's proven to be a great pocket passer--he is completely unpredictable.all that plus he can throw far, short, quick, slow--anything needed to get the ball where it needs to go, and he gets it right in their hands. He's more valueable than Manning.
More Valuable?Tell me that when McNabb wins the Most Valuable Player.I'd pick Manning in an instant if it was a choice, the guy is basically a complete quarterback and can get the job done.
you're taking what I said and thinking i meant the literal MVP awardim saying McNabb is THE WHOLE PACKAGE, and Manning is a SMALL PORTION OF IT, WHERE MCNABB WOULD BE MORE VALUEABLE OF THE 2, NOT MOST VALUEABLE OUT OF THE WHOLE LEAGUE but thats just me..
manning, i'm sorry, MANNING CONTROLLS DEFFENSES before even steping back to throw, and when he does drop back its beautiful, its perfect, it dont get no better then him. I will alwyas take manning over NAbb, just because QB is supposed to lead ur team, and Peyton does it better then anybody. the guy is an emotional leader, i'm not sayn nabb is not. But manning does it w/ just more precision, more beautifull?

Yeah, Manning in a heartbeat.Without McNabb, the Eagles went 5-1 I believe a few years ago. Without Manning, the Colts would be lucky to win a single game. I dont have stats though because MANNING NEVER MISSED A GAME.Manning is accurate, strong, and makes good decisions, what more do you want from a Quarterback? McNabb is also strong and makes good decisions, but his accuracy is not close to that of Mannings. McNabb still overthrows or underthrows a good amount of passes.Leadership wise, I believe that Manning is a better leader who was stuck on a worse team since he had no defense to work with. Now that Manning has a defense I think he can walk his way to a superbowl win.

When he does an audible you never know what's going to come. Also, you never know when he's going to do an audible and when he does the defense is probably in the wrong formation. MANNING INTIMIDATES EVERYONE.

McNabb gets sick in big situationsPut Manning on a team like the Eagles with both a good defense and offense and Manning WILL lead them to a Superbowl spot. Not a doubt in my mind

You mean winning NFC Championship games? show me some articles saying McNabb got sick in all those NFC championship gamesyou can't pin those losses on McNabbLast years superbowl, McNabb definately got sick thats undenyableAt least the Eagles could get to that freaking point all those times, the Colts were there in 03-04 and the only time before that was in the 1995-1996 seasonEagles have been to the NFC Championship game every year since 2001Who cares if Manning can toss 49 balls into the endzone in a season, McNabb CARRYS THAT TEAM ON HIS BACK.

But it would be interesting to see if another QB could take Mannings spot and play it effectively. The Colts do have a countless number of weapons on offense.
one point is is hard to deny, their both chokers, thats when u need somebody like tom brady. or joe MONTANAno but seriously, nabb always had a good deffense on ther other side of the ball. that kept them in lots of games. when they had duece they would pound the ball, now they dont really have that so nabb throws more, and it he has the tools to carry the team.. offensively anyways. they still have a dominant blitzing d. now the colts have that.. that d w/ freeney leading the way is keeping them in games, actualy even winning them. now they pound the ball to win the games, and as you see manning still has his ability's, as he proved it last game. so guys its practically a toss up. their both great, i'm just leaning towards manning, cauz he just shows great game preparation, great leadership, great connection w/ his teamates, great control of the deffense as I mentioned b4.. he's just a notch above nabb to me.. cauz thats what i prefer in a QB.
