Westbrook has 219 yards of total rushing and 1 TD. I don't think thats proving that he can rush well. He's very fast but he is a better threat in the passing game.
Well I mean, he has 4.5 yards per carry with those numbers, and last time I checked, thats a GOOD average for a runningback--LT's career average is 4.4, and he's arguably the best all around player in the NFL on offenseThey have the ability to run the football, they just don't give him the ball as much as they could because unlike most teams, the eagles do alot of short passes to guys in the backfeild to pick up big chunks of yards, as well as screens--Andy Reid considers this a part of their rushing game even though its their passing game really doing it.
You mention he averages 4.5 yards a carry and thats because he doesn't get the ball a lot so when he does teams arent expecting it. He only has 49 attempts on the season. Thats third last in the league next to Larry Johnson and Mewelde Moore
Like I said, they don't do alot of handoffs because THEY DON'T NEED TO, their passing game is unstoppable, just like the Colts was last year, but TIMES HAVE CHANGEDand just like you said, he has a good avg cuz they don't run alot, but what you gotta realize is THATS A GOOD STRATEGY, and this is because of those backfeild passes and screens to the quick and agile Westbrook work great

ohhhhm my fault my faultbut like, what you dont realize is, what the eagles consider rush yards other people would consider pass yards w/ those short passes off to the side, they definately do have a good rushing attack they just do it a little differently
