If you looking for a all star in a draft then you looking at the draft wrong. Your looking for quality that's fits your system and hopefully they can very good player to maybe grow into a star. There are few in this draft might fit mold but I also see a lot that will be quality players in this league. But there will surprises where a low 1st round or 2nd round that will end up in the quality area. Another thing just because your top level college player don't mean your going be successful in the pro and vice versa. Sometimes a college system might be holding back some players while the pro system might bring out there basketball abilities.

If the Blazers are looking to target someone in this draft I like Paolo Banchero. A true PF that resembles Chris Webber/Blake Griffin. I just don’t know how much it would help Dame right now.

What a game between NC and Baylor.

Can't say that Sochan particularly stood out though.

That's silly. If you add a player of that caliber to what we have now, that's a huge help. Doesn't matter if they aren't a veteran. They would be a huge get.

Yes, I addressed that in the draft thread. Good player who I think plays in the NBA because of his versatility but I didn't see the lottery level prospect the one draft site had him.

Gotta love his defensive abilities all over the court, but he's a negative on offense. I wouldn't take him with a lottery pick, but if we end up with a late 1st or early 2nd through some maneuvering and he's still on the board, his shot mechanics look good enough that I wouldn't mind gambling on his upside.

I actually think the only two guys in this draft that do help Dame right away are Paolo and Jabari. That's the weakest position on our roster now and they are both immediate upgrades over what RoCo or Larry were giving us. If we had one of those guys with Justise and Trendon backing them up, PF would become a position of strength for us. The problem for me is what we do with the picks if the likely thing happens and we don't jump into the top two or three. I think if it's Cronin and we're building around a Dame/Ant back court then those picks need to be traded for an immediate contributor. I feel like if guys are there that Toronto likes that they might be willing to take both picks, Hart and Bledsoe for Siakam.

It's funny because all of this conjecture is made with so many unknown variables. Will Cronin be running the draft and off season moves? Will we have two lotto picks? Where will ours end up? May 17th can't come soon enough.

This Kennedy Chandler cat on Tennessee is a freaking blur. Talk about "blow-by" speed...

Love March Madness. Any team at any given time can win it all. No Super Team like the NBA

Just wait for the 78 game NBA season with a mid season tournament.

I had never heard of Florida Gulf Coast University, but they upset #5 Virginia Tech. Women's side has a Cinderella.

FGCU got the famous “Dunk City” moniker in 2014 I think when they were a 15 seed and made it to the sweet 16. Surprised you’d never heard of em.

College basketball is so strange. Gonzaga is down by 10 and Holmgren has only taken 2 shots.
