Aren't you the same person advocating to rest Fox?

Fox needs rest. There is absolutely no question about it. If I had to guess, he has some type of core muscle/groin/knee injury that he will have surgery for in the off-season He is just not the same player right now as he was pre-olympic break.

I have a feeling that's not the last time we'll see it during the regular season, maybe to give Schneider a little extra rest going into the playoffs. Depending on if they have a divisional spot locked up.

Fox needs rest. Schneider doesn't. Think harder Al. This is why I usually have you on ignore. Inability to understand simple points. Fox has been playing 20+ minutes almost every night or close to it. He looks dead tired. If you can't see that than I don't how else to explain it to you.

Yes, that Braun- nemeth combo is a dumpster fire. Braun supposedly plays both sides so put him on the left with Schneider on the right. My concern when I heard the trade was gallant loving his vets sends Schneider down whil keeping up Hajek who I guess for. O other definition as the good luck charm. Ha ha ha. I agree with you guys that fox doesn’t look right. Defensively now a detriment and Lindberg without the Norris version of fox is being shown as a dumpster fire constantly being skated around as he is slow as shit and not big enough to clear the crease. As for yesterdays game just burn the tape and move on

Gallant is experimenting. Next game it’s Hajek and Braun. I don’t dislike Hajek but Braden needs to play if you want to rest Fox. No reason to demote laff. I don’t get that move last night. Like I said in other thread. Stupid dumbass takes it out on young guys. Will never bench any of the vets. Stubborn mule.

You have to give him a couple games he’s proven he knows what he’s doing for the most part this year. Fox has looked dreadful since coming back from the injury I don’t think he’s healthy. I think they will probably end up in the seventh or eighth seed and once Gallant sees that he’ll rest Fox a lot the last 10 games.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jones/Hajek get a couple of games in April to spell some people.

Defensively the team misses Kakko badly. I don’t think a lot of our fans appreciated how good he was defensively at such a young age.

The kids has played 50 games this year..he played 39 games last year...coming off back to back games against two tough opponents and with a new dean being acquired the coach felt it was a good night to give the kid a rest.

Didn't see you complaining after the first period about Schneider getting a rest.

Schneider got scratched because Gallant was playing stupid games with old, slow, low talent vet defenseman. It showed against the Devils who have quick forwards. Fox is dead tired and hasn't been right since his injury. A blind man could see that a mile a way. He needs to start being rested otherwise he'll be fairly useless in the playoffs.

I guess the way I see it, Nemeth should only be playing if both Fox and Schneider (or any other combination of 2 regular defensemen) are scratched between now and the playoffs. And hopefully when the playoffs start there are no injuries to the defense.
