Sadly, yes. Dimwits will make up shit to create panic: killing babies, homosexuals recruiting children, critical race theory taught in preschool. Criminal immigrants pouring across border. Election stolen from Trump. And Jewish money behind it all. None of it is true, but the people they are trying to rile up won't check. Who was it who said a lie will go around the world while truth is still putting on its shoes?
e-GADS! Even the Mormons are talking about this! https://latterdaysaintmag.com/maryl...uld-be-left-to-die-up-to-28-days-after-birth/
Right. A cult that believes in overpopulating the planet. Good choice of examples!! Every time I think that you can’t do you any better, you top yourself…….
Keep trollin', trollin', trollin' Though the threads are swollen ABM keeps on trollin', rawhide! barfo
I read enough. Why do you ask? I've read similar articles regarding Snopes. Point is, nobody has a patent on pure, unbiased information out there. YMMV is a common rule of thumb.
I read both. What's your point? I also posted these concerns from another link. This provision of HB 626 would protect from any investigation or prosecution a person whose baby dies due to a “failure to act” during the first 28 days after birth. A failure to act could be the failure to provide food, water, protection from exposure to extreme weather, etc. It essentially decriminalizes infanticide. HB 1171 will incorporate this “freedom” into the Declaration of Rights of the Maryland Constitution through the words “including but not limited to.” This isn't immediately say that these things will happen, but the trap has been set and the gauntlet has been thrown down. Slippery slopes are easy to come by these days. Film @ 11.
Oh my God, the Mormon Church said so. The church that spent millions of dollars to prevent me from having equal rights.
We reached out to the bill’s sponsor, Delegate Nicole Williams, who told us that the bill would not legalize infant homicide in Maryland, nor is that the bill’s intent. “It does not allow the killing of a baby,” Williams told Snopes in a phone interview. “That would be a homicide if that occurred. This bill doesn’t seek to modify any of our laws” on homicide. The intent of the bill, Williams said, was to protect pregnant people from being criminally charged or held liable in civil court in the event they terminate their pregnancies or experience pregnancy loss in the form of miscarriages or stillbirths. There is no slippery slope. That's such a vague and bullshit statement.
Two states are seemingly pushing their respective agendas. I wouldn't necessarily call that "nonexistent". Conversely, Texas, Florida, and other states have and push theirs. It is what it is.
