Dame Ant Nas Winslow Nurk Watford Hart Ingles Keon Brown Didi two way: 1. Williams 2. ? So that’s four open spots, plus a two way. I say bring back Dunn and Eubanks. Dunn is a quintessential Billups player. That leaves two spots open for a draft pick (I don’t see us keeping the pelicans pick if we secure it) and another addition, safe bet on Grant especially if we have the pelicans pick to trade. Two way can go to Elleby or whoever. If they need to clear a spot during the season they can waive Didi.
Can someone fill me in on Hughes? Every once in a while, he looks like he should be really good. The rest of the time he's a complete zero. What's his story?
can we dispense with that tired loopy narrative? Dame is just fine with CJ being traded. He's not going to draw a line at Blevins
Obviously all depends on how the rest of the offseason plays out, but, I'd look to keep McLemore, always nice to have shooters off the bench, hopefully he's a 9th-11th man for us. I think I might be the only person here who likes Elleby. I'd like to bring him back. I don't expect him to have a big role, but he's scrappy, and his shooting sucks, but he does a bunch of other little things which I appreciate. Someone mentioned the speed he plays at. I feel like he'll be one of those guys who has the game slow down for him in season 3. I like Dunn as a 3rd string PG. I like Eubanks as a 3rd string, maybe 2nd string C. Was it him recently who said he likes being that guy you hate playing against? I like that in a spot minute guy. Similar to Elleby. just an annoying jerk who knows his role and is going to hustle to the point where you have to expend more energy than you want to against a team's bench. Blevins is a definite no. Haven't seen enough of Hughes to warrant much consideration.
that's assumption. It's not like the Blazers have a shortage of 13th-15th type players on the roster willing to sign a 2-way or 10-day Brandon Williams Reggie Perry Dennis Smith Jr. Cameron McGriff Keljin Blevins Jarron Cumberland
McLemore, Dunn, Eubanks can all be 13,14, and 15 if we need to fill out the roster. Don't care which, depending on need etc.
put Blevins in the video room or something. He couldn’t even hack it in Europe. Someone needs an honest conversation with him this summer.
