Coy much? What I simply admitted was that, in voting for Trump, I became much more endeared by many in here.....including dviss.

    Yeah, but *why* trump?

Why is it no one made a stink about people who voted for Romney or McCain?

I mean, whats the difference between those 3 guys...I wonder...

That makes no sense. Besides the fact that it wasn't half of America, not even a quarter of Americans voted for him (barely a quarter of us voted for Biden, btw), whats that got to do with anything you said?

I don't get why you always think you can pull a fast one of the board by randomly bringing up stuff that has nothing to do with the subject people are talking about, as if that somehow proves your point.

Why did people who voted for Trump get treated far worse than people who voted for Romney or McCain? What is different about Romney and McCain vs Trump? What behavior did Romney and McCain not exhibit that Trump did?

And I'm not just talking about the obvious grifting of idiots that Trump did.

I’m still trying to figure out why anyone would actually vote for Trump and I have yet to hear a reasonable answer. I’ve heard it’s because he is a good business man(?). Nine bankruptcies anyone? I’ve heard it’s because he is not part of “the swamp”. Yeah right, he dredged it considerably deeper in just four years. I’ve heard it’s because he’s tough on Russia (and China). We’re now seeing in real time just how laughable that is. I’ve heard plenty of reasons with absolutely no validity whatsoever. The economy? Better than under Trump. Unemployment? Better than under Trump. Inflation? Trump got the ball rolling with a 1.5 trillion dollar bailout (which Biden doubled down on), and exacerbated by Trump’s pal Vladi’s megalomania. So Trump owns a serious share of the responsibility for that. I guess some people like him because he gave them permission to be self centered, mean spirited assholes. Because “freedumb”………….right?

Many of them, not all of them, voted for him because it allowed them to feel good about being white, which for some reason they believed they were no longer allowed to feel good about. I.e., they were led to believe that their unfair advantage of being white was in fact, justifiable, and they were mad that it was being taken away.

There's also some who like chaos (because they don't have to deal with economic uncertainties), and also some who just like "owning the libs", even at their own expense.

There are also some who are just fucking morons who believe they're 1 lotto ticket away from being rich and think rich people give two shits about them so we need to be kind to them.

Huh? When you quit being so coy and obscure, you might get more direct answers.

Anyway, Trump was/is entirely bombastic and defensive in nature. This coupled with the entire Democratic party taking it to him his entire presidency, and before, didn't bode well. At all. I sure wasn't going to vote for Hillary nor Biden, so I voted for him twice. I would've voted for Kasich and said so many times in here. At any rate, I took a beating by many, but whatever. I won't be voting for him in 2024, even if does make the ticket. In that case, I may just move to The Azores and call it a retirement.

that doesn't, surprise surprise, answer my question. Why did those who voted for McCain and Romney not receive such treatment as those who voted for Trump?

Boy, we sure have forgotten the Clinton years, haven’t we? Eight long years of one Republican gotcha after another. I’ve had Trump Derangement Syndrome for at least 5 years, but the Republicans have had Hillary Derangement Syndrome for 30 years. Bill Clinton was no particular prize but he was far more effective than any president since……

An Ohio teacher with 30 years experience was just fired. He was wearing a Pride bracelet and a student, high school level, asked what it was. He explained and as student was appreciative, offered the bracelet to the student.

    Out of here.

You're the one who brought up voting for Trump was a reason for something. Don't pull this weak ass shit in here.

I said I received a good deal of grief in here for that. I never said I had to answer why. You tell me.

You implied it was because you voted for trump. Your refusal to admit to us (and yourself) why you say that is telling.

Congrats on finally coming to grips with reality

    You're too funny.

I "implied" that because I was "told" that. On many separate occasions.
