Yeah but it's usually the opposite--wouldn't you think the "secondary" receiver would get the ball a lot more? When it comes down to it, whos better?Marvin Harrison or Reggie Wayne, or Brandon Stokely etc...obviously Harrisonand whos better, Isaac Bruce or Torry Holt? obviously Holt. The fact that these guys are better means they are gonna usually be double covered, or VERY closely taken account for in the secondary. The fact that they are able to overcome this shows what great receivers they are

I say holt because he has better speed and does not need a hall of fame qb throwing to him for him to do well

Harrison doesn't need a HOF QB either. If you think Holt had the chance don't u think he would like to be on Peyton Mannings team? He would buddy. It's not Harrisons fault if he's on a team with an amazing QB. Bulger may not be HOF type right now but the Rams are mostly one dimensional so Holt sees the ball come his way many times. [IMG]

Saying a great reciever is not good without a hall of fame QB takes alot of status from alot of recievers. Like saying, Jerry Rice wouldnt be JERRY RICE without Joe Montana or Steve Young.Same things go from the opposite side too, if "Michael Irvin" didnt have a Troy Aikman he wouldn't get all those perfect throws.

lemme say one thing. Harrison is a great reciever. But Holt is way under rated. Look at what half of you guys are saying. " Harrison is #1 in my opinion" "Moss is the best" HOLT is kinda unknown to a lot of people but statisicly Holt is a better Reciever. Harrison has more years on holt but Both are great recievers.

This year, I'd have to go with Holt because I think the Ram's one dimension and the Colt's perfect passer cancel each other out. Also, Holt is younger and underrated because of the Manning to Harrison duo. Oh my gosh, they broke the record for touchdowns together!! Holt probably would've done the same thing through Manning and also Holt's done everything through worse quarterbacks.

Holt because he is a decent wideout. He can do pretty much everything what a wide receiver do. Plus, I agree with some of you guys, he never really had a HOF Quarterback and he still get it done. Holt is really underrated, don't know why many people don't think he is an elite wide receiver.

Even though he didn't have a HOF Quarterback, he had two pretty damn good QBs. Kurt Warner was doing great a couple years ago when he won MVP and Bulger is doing decent at this point. Holt is underated though.IMO, I think Harrison is a little better even though he has Peyton Manning throwing to him. He has nice hands and everything but Holt is up there with him.
