Blazers’ trade-deadline offer to Pistons for Jerami Grant, revealed

A reporter at the Cleveland Plain Dealer turned heads recently when he revealed two high-profile Memphis Grizzlies players may not be as untouchable as many fans thought. “Grizzlies small forwards Dillon Brooks and Kyle Anderson are available for the right price,” sources told The Plain Dealer’s Chris Fedor in a story published August 22, 2021.

 

Still waiting on a plausable theory as to why those guys had far more value round the league, but the front office decided to turn down those offers for the worst one available.

We know teams talk year round, so I think the idea of they took the first offer has been dismissed.
We didn't see the Clippers flip RoCo for anything despite already have a handful of combo forwards on their roster.

At the end of the day, I guess we'll never know what was out there, but we know keeping them wasn't on the table.
