Totally agree with you Vic! I was under the impression Manfred was lobbying to get rid of that bullshit. Some of the best MLB games I've ever attended were definitely Extra inning games. I never forget the one Yankees game that didn't end until around 4:00 a.m. New York time. Back in 1990, June 15th. At Chavez Ravine the Padres versus The Dodgers. 13th inning approximately 1:00 a.m. Joe Carter hit a 2 run home run to win the game, a very low scoring game, 1-1going into OT! In the top of the 13th Tony Gwynn drew a walk, Joe Carter drove him in, himself too. That's what's called getting your money's worth, even though there was probably less than a thousand fans left in the stands. In LA seems like 50% of the fans leave after six innings.
