Yeah those black and white stats are horrible and shouldn't be used as any indication of what this team can do.
Aren't you also the one who wanted miller sent down...trouba to be bought out?

I can't fucking believe Kakko managed to put two pucks into the net tonight with such little time on the PP....In Fucking Credible.
Fox off the PP, no. Not going to happen barring injury. all you fucking arm chair coaches....

This. ALL OF THIS. Al just goes to the extremes. Must be super stressed at work right now. Hopefully it calms down in a few weeks for him.

A bunch, I'm not saying take Fox off the pp, just balance it out a little more with shot/pass. Keep the same guys out there.

Who are you going to replace him with?
    Another forward? Miller? Trouba?

The PP is struggling. Fox isn’t 100%. Cutting down his ice time heading into the playoffs so he’s fresher isn’t a terrible thing. Once in the playoffs put him back on and hopefully the PP can get back to what it was. That’s all I would do. I wouldn’t bury him off of it and never put him back on it like someone else said.

Trouba yes. I’m ok with a defensive dman out there. Like I said, 2nd place is locked up. Give Fox a break on his ice time. Let him be fresher going into playoffs and then get him back out there on the PP.

the playoff games will be tighter. You won't get many power-play chances. Shoot first should be the mentality on pp in the playoffs.

I fully agree that Fox is clearly off....but i think it's got to do with his legs...not his shot or lack there of.
I am a proponent of sitting him for a couple games to be fully honest. But if he is playing and the Rangers are on a PP there is not a chance he isn't out there for it. It's just not going to happen.

Getting back to the game...let's give it up to Georgiev....he's made some very good saves tonight. Good to see him playing well when Igor is getting rest.

This sieve Georgiev is beefing up his value so they can trade him in the off-season. I bet he thinks he will be a starter on some garbage team next year.

Nice to see the same people for years still in here fighting about Ranger hockey. Alexis Lafreniere, what are your thoughts on this kid so far? I'm pretty sure he wasn't even active for last nights game. He's only 20 years old, people tend to forget that.

Lafreniere and Kakko have been badly mismanaged by the Rangers. There has been little to no effort on the organizations part to develop the offense of these two top prospects. I’ve said it 100 times if you’re not putting those two guys out on the ice for 18 minutes and on the first PowerPlay unit don’t expect them to produce much offensively. Having Strome out there is moronic. Fox is starting to become a liability out there now.

he and Kakko have gotten majorly screwed by this organization getting minimal to no PP time, constantly getting new line mates, usually with 3rd and 4th liners and in the case of Lafreniere even having to change positions. Just complete incompetence.

it’s not going to get any better as the team had entered a win-now stage and additions like Copp and Vatrano further marginalize Lafreniere and Kakkos roles on the team.

Yep. I fully expect a team to offer Kakko a multi year 7+ million deal and Kakko to take it.
