In Fact or Fiction Westhebest said that T.O. would not be a factor if McNabb went to have that surgery and was not the QB. How can you say you're not 4 years old when you know so little about football. We're talking about one of the best receivers in the league and you're saying he needs McNabb to be a "factor". Not effective, but a "factor". He was a "factor" playing with the 49ers and just to let you know he's a bigger then most wide receivers so he is an easier target for QB's. Just an idiotic comment.
TO will be dominant no matter where he goes. Eagles passing game would suck if Detmer was Quarterback. He is terrible.It wouldn't matter if T.O. is on the team or not.
You can't say T.O. wouldn't be a factor though. And although Detmer isn't the calibur of McNabb, he has proven to be a very efficient backup. He was great in one game this year where they brought him in the end of the game. He led a nice drive down the field.
Of course TO is a factor, all I'm saying is Detmer isn't the best ball distributer.which means TO wouldn't get as many yards or TDsAlso: WHO CARES IF DETMER LED A DRIVE DOWN THE FEILD, THATS HIS JOB. Are you aware that there are only 10 weeks left in the season, and McNabb's recovery would take like 6 of those weeks. You really think Detmer will be putting up W's cuz TO is such a good factor? Detmer blows, cant throw the long ball like mcnabb does, and TO burns DBs n safties, he doesnt like to run short routes, so of course he wont do crap for the eagles besides get maybe 1-2 first downs a game for em.. Mcnabb does need that surgery
