I'm curious, has any college team in the history of football had two players drafted #1 & #2 in the NFL Draft?Because I'm pretty positive that's what will happen next year/season with USC's Matt Leinart & Reggie Bush. Anyone know if that has happened before and if so wich school/players?
Not breaking any history, this already happened in 1984 with Irving Fryar and Dean Steinkuhler who were both from Nebraska. Sorry if I broke your expectations in half

So I wouldn't exactly qualify that as "pwning".Anyways, it can go either way with Leinart & Bush. Depends on wich team drafts first. (Maybe the Texans)
It also happened earlier in 1967 when Charles (Bubba) Smith and Clint Jones from Michigan State went first and second to the Colts and Vikings respectively
It also happened only five years ago (sorry if this is racking up your brain from five years ago) but at the turn of the century two teammates went numbers one and two. These teammates just happened to be Lavar Arrington and Courtney Brown who both went to Penn State.

In Sports Illustrated the Texans said if Carr doesn't produce this year he will be on the hot seat and the Texans are going #1 in the draft for sure. Bush will go to the 49ers to give Alex Smith a running game and a very effective WR also.

A team like the 49ers probably wont be looking at QB with Alex Smith and have a franchise RB in Kevan Barlow so I see them going O-line. SickVick, with Kevan Barlow i just dont see the 49ers going for a Runningback. Also the texans have Carr (although he is due a 8 mill roster bonus this offseason so he may be released now since he isnt performing up to expectations) and Dominick Davis, but they have no O-line, so I think D'Bruckashaw Ferguson could be their pick either. Either way, I see this kid going top 2 like Robert Gallery.

Fine, lemme rephrase that. With the money they are spending on Kevan Barlow, they cant afford another feature runningback so soon.
Why is it all David Carr's fault tht his O-Line can't protect him? Why isn't some of the blame on them, or Domanick Davis, where has he been?

That means that he has got to adapt to a 3 step drop and throw little slant or out routes. With this O-line it is imperative that you call the right plays and Carr just isn't doing that. But yes, I would put most of the blame on the O-line.
