    Self-mutilation is not illegal for adults. I don't care what adults do to themselves, it's a free country. However, most of these adults who found themselves considering desperate forms of self- mutilation got there due to being misled, miseducated as children.

    Mutilating children is a crime of heinous proportions beyond explanation.

    A group of senate Republicans are proposing a bill that would require a parental warning for any television program with any gay or trans character. In any context. For example, a recent Law & Order. The murder victim had been having mysterious late night meetings with a man. Detectives suspected an affair. Man said no affair, he's gay, also he's a journalist and she is leaking information about toxic workplace.
    That would require parental warning.
    Don't say gay going national.

    Not getting it. At no point does the state have any legal say about a womans body, according to the constitution.

    In fact, the constitution specifically excludes the unborn from having rights, setting birth as the moment rights and protections are given.

    He's trying to equate public schools/social programs as though it's the government taking over control of the child.

    You know, how idiots say public schools are teaching "CRT" (they aren't), and are indoctrinating students (they aren't) and have cat boxes set out for the students who "identify as a cat" (they don't).

    But it sure makes for believable talking points that further supports what I already "know" to be the case, and will refuse to be told how to think!!11!

    He's trying to be funny and flippant. But it only shows that he's stuck in the 1950s.

    I mean, ffs, this thread itself screams "I am white and horribly out of touch with the times".
